Commercial Snow Management

Zero-Tolerance Snow & Ice Management

In Vermont, winter is a business challenge. Munson Earth Moving has been providing reliable commercial snow plowing since 1960. We don’t just push snow; we manage winter liability. Our fleet of large loaders, graders, and plow trucks is specifically designed for large-scale retail, industrial, and municipal properties where access is critical.

Our Winter Services

Commercial Plowing Contracts

We specialize in “Zero-Tolerance” contracts for high-traffic sites like hospitals, distribution centers, and retail hubs (such as Taft Corners). We plow continuously during events to ensure pavement remains black and accessible.

Ice Mitigation (Salting & Sanding)

Slip-and-fall accidents are a major liability. We use proactive anti-icing techniques and responsive salting to keep your parking lots and walkways safe for employees and customers.

Snow Hauling & Relocation

When the snow piles get too high to push, we have the heavy advantage. We use our own fleet of heavy loaders and dump trucks to physically remove snow from your site, reclaiming valuable parking space during those deep February freezes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if we run out of room to pile snow?

Unlike smaller contractors, Munson has a fleet of heavy loaders and dump trucks. We perform “snow relocation” or hauling services, physically removing snow from your premises to off-site disposal areas to keep your parking lot capacity at 100%.

Do you offer per-push or seasonal contracts?

We offer both. For high-traffic commercial sites, we typically recommend a seasonal contract which includes priority dispatch and comprehensive ice management.

What is “Zero Tolerance” snow management?

Zero Tolerance means we don’t wait for the storm to end. We plow and treat continuously throughout the event to ensure pavement remains wet or clear, minimizing slip-and-fall liability for your business.
